Just wanted to share some wonderful Facebook penetration statistics for the United States that I found on the Internet World Statistics website. These figures are current as of June 2010. What is truly amazing is that in a population of roughly 310 million people, 77.3% of us are internet users! By far, the most “plugged in” nation in the world. What I found truly mind boggling is the that out of 240 million internet users, 133 million of us are Facebook users. That’s a whopping 43% penetration of US internet users.
